What is Coaching?

Coaching connects you with an accountability partner dedicated to your career success. Coaching enables successful people to reach even greater potential in their career by working with you to create an action plan for success.

Coaching is not counseling or therapy to correct problems. Coaching is a forward-looking process that provides guidance and motivation to healthy, stable individuals.

  • Our conversations are always confidential and we listen intently to what you say. We are your advocate, offering suggestions, ideas and an outside perspective to help you manage change. We always tell you the truth encourage you to stay true to yourself.  We clarify what is most important so you can create an action plan for your career path.
  • We won’t act as your best friend and you may feel challenged or uncomfortable with some of our suggestions. What we will do is support your journey of self-discovery and honor your commitment to reach your goals. We will challenge you to do your best and always be there for you.
  • You’ll have homework between each appointment, and at the beginning you’ll do a lot of introspection. Once you know where you want to go with your career transition, we can launch into the strategic planning stage.  We work together to define your next steps in your career and set your goals. I partner with you to identify what you truly want in your career, assess your values, skills and interests. You learn skills you can use throughout your career.
  • We keep you on track and accountable for your progress and cheer you on when you accomplish that which you set forth to accomplish!

It is important to remember that this will be a partnership. You will be investing in a better life for yourself, and as your coach I will hold you accountable for your actions. My ultimate goal is to help you reach yours. Please contact me today to get started with your free coaching session.
